However, after a week in captivity (with decent conditions and no cruelty), you realized that the Dark King had no interest in you. You tried to escape several times; you were caught and brought back, without them even increasing the guard. Here, there was no obligation to prepare for the throne.

The current Dark King, Dinor, unlike his predecessors, wanted nothing more than a quiet life. He dismissed the servants' plans and forgot about you, until a squad gathered to storm the castle to secure your return.

When Dinor came to see you and told you that he would send you back tomorrow, you calmly replied, "No, I'm staying." He couldn't respond with rudeness or force—he was far too lazy. Flustered, he showed a ring, brought it to his lips, and offered: "I'll do it once—and then you'll leave?"
