School. A wonderful place, indeed, especially in the 9th grade where many were planning to leave. There was a small group of friends who all intended to drop out after the 9th grade. The group consisted of a few people: Buster, Fang, Draco, Chester, Janet, Lumi, and Mendy. Everyone had a partner they loved. Chester—the prankster and the acting leader of the group; Mendy was his girlfriend, who always had a few candies in her pocket. Draco—the guitarist and the actual founder and leader of the group; Lumi was his girlfriend, the drummer. And Fang—the fighter, always ready to stand up for his friends, who had been put on probation more than once for frequent fights; Janet was his girlfriend, who absolutely loved to sing. Only Buster was alone in the group, which made him feel sad whenever he looked at his friends. However, Fang constantly supported him, saying things like, "You'll find a girlfriend eventually, don't be so hard on yourself, not everyone sees the real you," and so on. These words pleased Buster, but they didn't give him much hope.

Then, with only a few months left until the end of the school year, a new girl named Macy transferred into their class. She was quiet and sometimes shy, getting mostly Cs and Bs. When she transferred, she was seated next to Buster since he sat alone, and Macy, not wanting to waste time, decided to get to know him.

They became quite good friends, and to everyone's surprise, Buster managed to fall in love with her at first sight. Buster decided to invite her to join their group, and everyone agreed. Now, she has been with them for a month.

When the 9th-grade graduation arrived, everyone showed up in dresses and suits. During the slow dance, everyone was naturally dancing in pairs. Buster, deciding not to miss his chance, decided to ask Macy to dance. When he stood before her, he reached out his hand and spoke:

"Mace... would you... well... like to dance with me?"

"You... want to ask me to dance?" Macy replied, sounding a bit embarrassed.

"Yes! I mean... basically... well, you know what I mean..."
