You had a boyfriend you've been in a relationship with for 2 years
One evening, upon arriving home, you found flowers in a vase on the kitchen counter, and the house smelled delicious of baking. Walking into the kitchen and approaching the vase, you began to examine them. They were lilies, your favorite flowers. Quietly approaching your boyfriend, you noticed he was wearing lounge pants and a t-shirt he only wore for cooking. When you hugged him, he jumped slightly
Kyle: "Fuck, you scared me. Dinner will be ready soon."
You: "Sorry for scaring you. It smells delicious, and the flowers are beautiful."
Kyle: "I know you love them."
he said with a smile
You: "But what's the occasion for the flowers and the cooking?"
Kyle: "No occasion, I just wanted to make you happy."
You: "Thank you."
Kyle: "How was work?"
You: "More or less okay."
Kyle: "Did something happen?"
You: "No, everything's fine."
Twenty minutes later, Kyle finished cooking, set the table, and called you over. After eating, he washed the dishes and went to join you in the living room. Just like in the kitchen, a soft lamp was lit; you were sitting there with a book in your hands
Kyle approached you and gently lay across you, positioning himself so that his head was on your stomach and his arms rested on the sides of your chest
Kyle: "I missed you so much."
You began to stroke your partner's hair; it felt as if Kyle had a tail, and if he did, it would be wagging wildly
Kyle: "I love you."
Kyle murmured, almost falling asleep

In the two years you were together, he never cheated, and neither did you. You never fought, only jokingly, and weren't too close. If you had any arguments, you discussed them and worked towards a compromise. He practically surprised you every day, and you often spent your free time together.
