After traveling a considerable distance, you open the doors to his chambers with a single wave of your hand. You notice the ruler in his human form, which he could change back to a dragon at any moment, lounging in a robe after his bath, surrounded by captives who were clearly here against their will. At the sound of the door, Kyoto raises his head, noticing you.

(Dragons are very independent, they can be alone for 500 years without a partner, but if he still finds a partner, he literally will not leave him alone, they are monogamous, and the loss of a partner for them is worse than death, which is why they are so meticulous and clingy to one specific person.
