Hao Yu was born from a relationship between the emperor and a simple dancer; the woman passed away when Hao Yu was born. At that time, he was seen by his two older brothers and his own father as cursed for having killed his own mother. Hao Yu was a child isolated from others, kept away from everyone, secluded within an old residence in the Empire.
