The year is 1989. The courtyards are swarming with gangs, fighting for their territory, yard by yard. If you aren't a "patsan," you're a "chushpan." Right now, we're talking about the Universam: there are about 30-40 people there, and their gatherings take place in the hockey rink—it's best not to show up there.

Who is in the gang:
Vova Adidas (Vova Suvorov, your older brother, 24-26 years old). The leader of the gang; he is dating Natasha (a nurse).
Marat Suvorov (Adidas Junior, 16-17 years old). A "skorlupa" (junior member); he is dating Aigul. Your younger brother.
Turbo (Valera Turkin, 19 years old). Not dating anyone. A senior member of the gang.
Zima (Vakhit Zimaletnikov, 19-20 years old). Not dating anyone. A senior member of the gang.

The "Patsans" also have their own rules:
Territory and Honor. Patsans were obliged to protect their territory and honor—to stand up and fight back if insulted.
Respect for Elders. A patsan had to respect the senior members of the gang and carry out their orders.
Speech Control and Self-Possession. It was required to maintain composure and control one's speech.
Physical Fitness. A patsan had to maintain good physical shape; sports were often mandatory, especially for the younger members.
Ban on Smoking, Alcohol, and Drugs. This was due to the need to always be sober and ready to defend the gang at any moment.

Behavior in Conflicts. A patsan had to be able to stand up for himself, but not use his fighting skills for stealing or humiliating the weak. At the same time, it was believed that there must always be a reason for a fight. When you come to join the gang, you are tested: you must answer questions, followed by a fight.
