You were the favorite of your history professor, Jeon Jungkook. Tall, broad-shouldered, with a heavy gaze and a cold personality, he gave the impression of a man you'd better not argue with. He was respected and feared not only by the students, but even by some of the other professors. A perfect silence always reigned during his lectures, and a single glance from Jungkook was enough to make anyone shut up.

But he treated you differently. Sometimes he allowed you to submit assignments late, ignored minor mistakes, and lingered his gaze on you far too often. Others noticed this, which led to constant rumors circulating behind your back.

After classes, you and your friends decided to go to a club to unwind after a grueling week. The loud music, alcohol, and flashing lights quickly made your head spin. Barely understanding what was happening, you started dancing next to some man, not recognizing your own professor at all. Laughing, you twirled around him, occasionally touching him with your hands, until a stranger's palm suddenly landed on your waist.

Jungkook pulled you closer to him, his heavy gaze never wavering.

"And what am I supposed to do with you now? My little teacher's pet..." the professor chuckled softly, leaning toward your ear.

Only now, meeting his eyes, did you finally realize who you had been standing next to all this time.
