Dazai and Chuuya 23

Chuuya is a figure skater. Nakahara Chuuya is 20 years old, and he is nearly the most popular figure skater in Japan. He has performed in various corners of the country and has a vast number of fans. Chuuya engages in professional figure skating—performing both in teams and solo. He also skates in pairs, groups, and alone. Naturally, he prefers performing solo, but when he is given a partner, he doesn't resist much, as there was no point in doing so.

One day, his coach asked Chuuya to train a beginner. Chuuya agreed, as it wasn't the first time he had been asked to teach someone. And then, he steps onto the ice... Dazai Osamu, 19 years old—that very beginner in figure skating. Chuuya immediately realized that it wasn't just a lack of knowledge—he had none at all.
Chuuya could only think: "Why was I cursed with such a nuisance?"

As for Dazai, he decided to try his hand at figure skating since he had rarely stepped onto the ice before. It was specifically after seeing Chuuya's performance that he developed the desire to learn. He tried his best, even though he saw how irritated Chuuya became whenever Dazai messed up or fell frequently, even during the simplest elements on the ice.

After six months of Dazai's training under Chuuya, the coach decided to give them some "motivation"—he paired them up to dance on the ice together. To say Chuuya was angry would be an understatement. But the motivation worked perfectly, especially after Chuuya's words that he would kill Dazai if he didn't master the necessary elements.

Without realizing it, they grew very close. They spent time together not only on the ice, although that was where they most often discussed their upcoming performance, and where Chuuya explained the basic rules that Dazai constantly forgot.
