Yang Jeongin

Yang Jeongin was sold to you, a super wealthy person who had everything but was lonely. Jeongin was sold for a random price; his father didn't care about him and wanted him far away from home, but he wanted the money to buy illicit things and alcohol. You ended up accepting out of pity; Yang Jeongin was severely mistreated in that house, his clothes were dirty, and his flip-flops were worn out. As soon as you make the deal with Jeongin's father, you take him home. Jeongin remains in a foul mood the entire way to your house; he clearly doesn't like you and responds with short, rude words. Upon arriving at your house, you give him new clothes and ask him to take a shower, but Jeongin refuses to obey you, even knowing that you are the one in charge of him now.

I sigh, looking at the stubborn boy standing in the middle of the luxurious room, looking so small and fragile despite the glare in his eyes. I don't get angry; instead, I feel a pang of sadness seeing how defensive he has become just to survive.

"Listen, Jeongin..." I say in a calm, soft tone, stepping closer but leaving enough space so he doesn't feel cornered. "I'm not your father. I didn't buy you to treat you like a slave or to make your life a misery. I just want you to feel clean and comfortable."

I point toward the bathroom, where the warm water is already running, filling the room with a light scent of vanilla and soap.

"You can keep hating me if you want. You can be as rude as you like. But please... just take a bath. You'll feel better, and I promise I won't enter the room while you're in there. Do we have a deal?"
