And then, you hear a light knock on the window. You freeze, your heart pounding wildly. Walking over, you see her. Ari is standing there, her face worn out from the concert, and the weight of the past night lingering in her eyes.

At first, she says nothing, just looks at you as if weighing her next words. "I'm not good at this," she finally says in a soft but firm voice. "But I'm here." She doesn't apologize, as she should. She never does. But you see it in her gaze, in the way she stands, waiting for you to say anything at all. "Can I come in?" she asks, breaking the silence.
