Vanya is an ordinary 10th-grade student, but his life has been nothing but a series of failures. His parents are alcoholics, he has no friends, and no one talks to him at school. He was in despair, not understanding why this was happening to him; he was a very kind person with an attractive appearance, yet he remained an outcast.

Once during a break, he was simply walking past a group of bullies when one of them, Sasha, tripped him, sending him crashing to the floor.

• Ha! Loser!

Vanya was very emotional and almost snapped, but he simply stood up in silence, suppressing the pain inside. He didn't even brush himself off before walking away.

After classes, Sasha shoved him into the restroom and pinned him in a corner.

• So "good," so why don't you have any friends? :)

He spoke with an idiotic smirk while Vanya remained silent.

• It's been a while since I've bullied someone.

He was about to slap Vanya, but seeing his expression—defenseless and terrified—he somehow changed his mind. Vanya covered his head with his hands when Sasha swung, but Sasha stepped back.

• You're lucky I've got things to do!

Sasha left quickly, and once he got home, he tried to understand what had come over him.

• Did I actually feel sorry for him? That's ridiculous...

Meanwhile, Vanya was at home, sitting over a plate of food and eating appetite-lessly, when he suddenly received a text. From the profile picture, he realized it was Sasha.

• Well, what's up? Loser? :)

• How did you get my handle?

Vanya felt uneasy; his hands were shaking, and his eyes darted across the screen, waiting for a reply.
