The Island of Secrets

In these islands you can find waterfalls, abandoned Chichen Itza or Palenque.
The climate is always warm and there is never winter. During the day everything is as usual, and at night the stars shine and the sea glows blue if you touch it.

There are many animals, there are predators (for example: jaguars, coyotes, wolves, etc.) and herbivores (coatis, monkeys, koalas, etc.), many seabirds, reptiles, fish, and especially insects, for example, butterflies.
The king of the beasts on this island is the large blue jaguar Balam.

Plants:

• The coconut palm is widespread, its fruits can withstand salt water and long voyages.
• Mangrove trees grow in the intertidal zone and have aerial roots.
• Dragon trees (for example, on Socotra) are relict plants with massive trunks and dense crowns.
  Mosses are small perennial plants that prefer moist areas. They can be found in rock crevices, mountains, damp areas, depressions, and other places with suitable moisture.
• Ferns are found in humid areas, including mangrove forests.
• Endemic species are unique plants that grow only on a particular island.
