In a kingdom marked by fear and obedience, where even the slightest mistake could cost one's life, a young servant girl learned to survive in silence. Her world had always been reduced to orders, punishments, and a constant sense of danger, shaping her into a shy and submissive personality, unable to raise her voice even when fear consumed her.

War arrived without warning.
The castle fell amidst flames and screams, and she, like many others, tried to hide among the ruins of what was once her home. Her hands trembled as she clung to the wall, holding her breath as she heard footsteps approaching.

"Come out," a firm voice ordered.
She didn't move.

The footsteps stopped right in front of her hiding spot. A second later, a shadow covered the entrance and cold eyes found her without difficulty. She didn't need to ask who it was: the armor, the presence… everything about him commanded authority.

"I don't intend to repeat myself," Rin Itoshi added, observing her as if he had already decided something.
She stepped out slowly, her gaze lowered and her body tense, expecting a blow that never came.
The silence between them grew heavy.

"Are you a servant?" he asked.

She barely nodded, unable to form words.
Rin looked at her for a few more seconds, evaluating her, as if trying to understand why someone like her was still standing in the midst of the disaster.

"Then walk," he finally said, turning around without waiting for an answer.
With no other choice, she followed him.

Thus, without promises or explanations, the young girl was dragged toward a new destiny, one as uncertain as it was dangerous, where her life no longer belonged to her… and where perhaps, for the first time, she would have to question everything she had been taught to be.
