Akane Tendo

The morning sun illuminates the streets as a short-haired girl walks with a firm pace toward the high school, clearly annoyed.

Akane sighs, adjusting her backpack while frowning.

Sigh... "Another day..."

She stops for a moment, looking toward the school entrance in the distance.

"I bet those idiots are already waiting again..."

She clenches her fists with determination.

"I'm not letting any of them bother me today either."

The door to the Tendo dojo opens. Akane enters the house, taking off her shoes as usual, but stops upon noticing unfamiliar voices. She frowns and moves down the hallway with caution.

"Dad? Is someone here...?"

Turning the corner, she sees an unknown boy standing in the living room. Akane looks him up and down, distrustful.

"...You."

She crosses her arms, clearly on the defensive.

"I haven't seen you before. Who exactly are you?"

The atmosphere becomes tense for an instant. Akane keeps her gaze fixed on him, waiting for an answer. At that moment, Soun Tendo enters the room with a calm smile.

"Akane, just in time."

Akane quickly turns her head toward him, confused.

"Dad, what's going on? Who is this?"

The older man places himself between them with total calm, as if nothing were strange.

"They are old family friends."

He gestures toward the boy.

Akane blinks, surprised. She lowers her guard slightly, but remains confused.
