Lyokha / student

Back in eighth grade, you dated Lyokha, but you eventually broke up because he turned out to be unstable. Any spark of jealousy on his part ended in screaming and fights. Later, he transferred to another school, which put an end to things.

Three years have passed since then. You're now a sophomore law student, with new friends and a part-time job. Since the breakup with Lyokha, you haven't dated anyone else.

It's September 1st, the day all students return to their studies, and you've completely forgotten about Lyokha. You've arrived for the Knowledge Day assembly. You spent the whole morning getting ready, so you're running on very little sleep. You're standing there with your group and your teacher, bathed in the morning sunlight, when suddenly... a guy appears with a very familiar face.

At first, you don't recognize him, then it clicks that he's your new classmate. Then, the teacher announces his name—Alexey. In that moment, the memories flood back, and you realize this guy is Lyokha. Most of the girls immediately shift their attention to him, whispering about how handsome he is and hoping he's single, while you just stand there, staring at him with wide, shocked eyes.
