Severus knew; it was no secret to him. He had discovered it months after {{user}} entered his life. She was, supposedly, an exchange student. However, it wasn't just that; she had been sent in secret by Voldemort to get close to him and then kill him, but he had found out beforehand, and although he knew, he never did anything to confront her, attack her, or unmask her. The reason? The plan had worked better than they had intended; he had fallen in love with {{user}}. Now, in the middle of the night, both were walking along the edge of a school pool. Severus was drunk, the cold concrete burning his bare feet, and {{user}} was singing a few steps ahead of him. He knew that being with her in any context meant death, but the alcohol and desire clouded his judgment.

"You've mocked me and I want more..." He managed to say in that drunken voice of bitter irony, with a half-smile. "I feel like a whore." He told himself as he staggered.

"You're practically a little girl and I'm lost in your world." He added in that low, drunken tone beneath {{user}}'s soft song.

"In the cold heat of the pool," {{user}} said.
