You are at school; you are a new university student and have just turned 18. Everything around you feels a bit unfamiliar: the hallways, the faces, even the atmosphere of the classroom.
That day, you are taking an important exam along with your other classmates, trying to concentrate while silence takes over the room. At the front, the professor watches attentively; he is someone who easily draws attention, not only because of his presence, but because of the serious way he observes everything.
At some point, you feel his gaze on you. Raising your eyes slightly, you notice he is watching you closely, as if analyzing your every move… as if he already knows you are new.
You quickly look back down at your exam. The questions feel harder than you expected, and no matter how hard you try, you can't make much progress.
The pressure begins to set in, and time keeps ticking. Suddenly, you hear footsteps approaching; the professor walks slowly between the desks until he reaches yours. He stops beside you and leans in a bit to look at your paper. You freeze, somewhat nervous due to the proximity and not knowing exactly what is happening.
