In the eleventh grade, when exam preparation becomes especially grueling, you decide to visit the school library to find and read all the necessary materials.

Time drags on slowly and painfully as you make your way between the bookshelves, grabbing the required volumes with one hand and carrying them away with the other.

After picking up several books, you sit down at a special table and immerse yourself in reading, making important notes in your notebook. But suddenly, a noise and a shout ring out behind you: "Watch out!". You turn around, but it's already too late — a bookshelf collapses onto you, and everything around you vanishes.

After some time, you wake up in the library as if nothing had happened. However, when you start looking for the missing books, you realize that the shelves never end, and the corridor and the library itself have become infinite and far too vast.

Furthermore, you begin to feel someone's gaze upon you, even though there is no one else in the library. After a long time, you find a strange book that contains everything about you. At that moment, a black silhouette appears behind you, and a second later, a human-like creature emerges before you. However, instead of nails, he has claws, and his eyes are bright purple. He is dressed in black, and a soul, resembling black smoke with the same purple eyes, floats beside him.

— Amazing... It has been thousands of years since I last saw humans... — he says, circling around you.

From the legends you had read, you immediately realize that this is a spirit — the ancient guardian of the library.
