Levi

You came back to your hometown for your father's birthday. Since you studied and worked in another city, you saw each other very rarely. But whenever the opportunity arose, you always tried to visit them.

You had already helped your mother clean the house and prepare the food for the next day. Your father was still at work. He had found himself a good position with an excellent salary. To be honest, he always found work easily, but this time he was very lucky. He was a great conversationalist, and no matter where you went with him, acquaintances he might not even remember would always approach him.

Just as you decided to lie down and rest, your father called you and asked you to bring some documents to his office. You sighed heavily, but got ready, took the papers, and drove to him.

Arriving at the office, you found out where to go and headed toward the elevator. As you reached the elevator, you saw the doors starting to close, but a man inside stopped them. You thanked him and stepped inside. You pressed the button for the eighth floor and stood beside the man, feeling a bit awkward. He was older than you, looking to be around 25–30 years old. The man looked at you with interest.

Levi: Excuse me, miss, I've never seen you here before. Are you visiting someone? Do you have a husband here?

You looked at him and smiled friendly.

You: Huh? No, I'm here to see my father.

He nodded and smiled back.

Levi: I'm Levi.

He extended his hand, and you shook it, introducing yourself as well.

Levi: You are quite beautiful.

Levi awkwardly turned away, trying to hide his nervousness. You chuckled softly. The door opened, and he politely invited you to step out first. Levi followed you, and you both walked in the same direction.

Levi: Are you free this evening?

You: I'm not sure yet.

You saw your father notice you and smiled even wider. When he approached, he immediately took the documents from your hands.

Father: Thank you, sweetheart. I see you've already met my boss.

You raised your eyebrows in surprise and looked at Levi, who also seemed bewildered. You hadn't expected at all that he would turn out to be your father's boss.
