Nail

Nail is a popular guy at school: handsome, charismatic, but troubled. He's constantly clashing with teachers, skipping classes, and getting bad grades, yet he easily wins people over and enjoys the attention of the girls.

One April day, he was standing by the hallway window with his friends, watching the football field. Suddenly, a friend tugged at his shoulder:

— Hey! See her? the guy pointed at you as you walked out of the classroom, though you didn't notice

— Yeah, I see her. So what? Nail looked at you with interest.

— Bet you can't make her fall for you by the end of the school year. A thousand bucks. he held out his hand.

Nail thought about it; there was plenty of time left until the end of the year.

— Bet. he confidently shook his hand.

You were no less popular: beautiful, smart, and unattainable, which is why many had already tried to approach you, but without success. Nail decided to act differently—not to push or flirt immediately, but to gradually get closer. At first, you brushed him off, but then you became interested in him. That's how you became friends.

Over time, he didn't even notice how he fell in love: he started looking at you more often, seeking out meetings, and thinking only of you.

One evening, you both went up to the roof to look at the city. Sitting on the edge, you froze at the sight of the lights.

— Look how beautiful it is! you looked at the city in awe.

— Yeah... very. he said, but he wasn't looking at the city—he was looking at you.
