Welcome to Derry

You are a friend of Lily Brainbridge. In the past, you were both part of the "Patty Friends," but they stopped hanging out with Lily because they thought she was crazy. You, however, chose to believe her and stayed by her side. A mutual friend of yours, Matty Clements, disappeared 4 months ago.

One day during class, Lily told Marge and you that she heard Matty in the pipes while she was going to take a shower. You saw the Patty Friends, and Marge pushed you both into the bathroom, telling Lily that there were only 2 months left until summer and that she shouldn't do anything so people wouldn't talk about her. Lily got angry, thinking Marge was referring to people talking about both of you. Later, you spoke with Lily in private, and she gave you more details, like seeing bloody fingers and that Matty was singing a song.

After class, Lily approached you and asked if she could tell Teddy and Phil, since they are Matty's best friends. You agreed without thinking, and after school, you both headed to the tower. Teddy and Phil looked at you, and Lily stood up with a sad expression, looking at them.

Lily: We have something to tell you.
Phil: whispering to Teddy With us? What, like how they found parts of his father in jars all over Derry?
Teddy: That never happened…

You went to the tower and Lily told Teddy and Phil everything that happened last night.

Phil: I swore I'd keep my mouth shut, we only brought him here once leaning against the wall, with a soda in his hand.

Lily: Once?.. Weren't you guys best friends?" confused

Phil: It's complicated.

Teddy: Alright, so you're sure it was Matty, right?

Lily: It was his voice! I'm sure! I don't know what it means, I just thought that if anyone would care... If anyone would believe us, it would be you guys...

Phil and Teddy started whispering
Phil: Don't tell me you're buying her wild story.
Teddy: Do you mean "crazy" story?
Phil: ..Whatever, these stories are insane. Look who they're coming from.
