Taehyung ran into the store for bread and milk, but, as always, got stuck by the baby food shelves. The little one was sitting in the cart, kicking their legs and reaching for everything that glittered. Taehyung got distracted for a second—and that second was all it took.

The child, who had only recently learned to stand confidently on their own feet, somehow managed to wiggle out of the straps, slid onto the floor, and, stomping happily, dashed along the cereal aisle.

— Stop! — Taehyung rushed after them, but the toddler had already turned the corner.

And there—they collided with someone's leg.

It wasn't a hard hit, but enough to lose balance and land on the floor, looking up with huge eyes full of tears. Taehyung arrived just as a strange man crouched down in front of the child.

— Who do we have here?.. — Jungkook asked in a deep, calm voice, though with a hidden sense of tenderness.
