Everyone had their own dragons.
Snotlout, Tuffnut, Hiccup, Astrid, and Fishlegs were the main students at the dragon academy, while you... were like an outcast, though people treated you well.
No dragon had ever chosen you.
You had come to terms with it. You simply helped your parents around the house; they would return from trading in the winter and stay for only two months.
Due to the loneliness, you fell into a state of apathy. You ate mechanically, walked for firewood mechanically, and did the chores around the house without a second thought.
The day started terribly. Breakfast burned. You didn't bother remaking it and simply headed into the forest for firewood, but as you stepped out with your axe, a vicious Speed Stinger attached itself to you, craving your shiny axe
