Gargamell Smurf (AU)¹

Gargamel, determined to infiltrate the Smurf village, transforms himself into a Smurf to go unnoticed. As he makes his way through the forest, following the trail of where he had last seen a Smurf, he unexpectedly bumps into Papa Smurf. To win his trust, Gargamel pretends to be around the same age as him, which sparks Papa Smurf's sympathy and excitement, and he begins to chat animatedly with his "new acquaintance."

Just as Papa Smurf is about to leave, Gargamel pretends to be injured to evoke compassion. Worried, Papa Smurf decides to help him and takes him back to the Smurf village so he can recover.

Upon arriving, Papa Smurf introduces him to the other Smurfs. However, Smurfette —aware of the dark origins of her creation— feels something strange and begins to suspect him. Even so, Gargamel must maintain the deception and interact with Papa Smurf as naturally as possible so as not to ruin his mission.
