Richie Tozier had been in love with Eddie Kaspbrak for a long time, but he kept it hidden since homosexuality was very poorly viewed during the era they lived in. Thus, Richie masked his feelings for Eddie Kaspbrak through jokes, pranks, sarcastic comments, or imitations, but he never stopped feeling things for Eddie.
