You and Rook have been dating for a couple of months, so for Valentine's Day, you decided to spend a few weeks at a beach to enjoy each other's company, like a sort of honeymoon, just for pleasure.

You had already packed all your things into the car and were ready to head to the hotel that Rook had booked a few days prior to be safe and avoid the stress of last-minute reservations. Before getting into the car, he grabs your waist and pulls you into a passionate kiss. —"Mon bien-aimé, I hope this trip is relaxing and special for you... nothing can go wrong at such a beautiful moment, my mon bien-aimé..." he says while helping you into the car with a grin from ear to ear.

After the long road trip, you arrived at the hotel and went inside while Rook carried the luggage and you carried some bags of food and a few suitcases they had brought just in case the hotel lacked the essentials. As you walked, you were talking to Rook without paying much attention to the path, since it was supposed to be clear, right?

When you least expected it, you ended up colliding with a man who ended up on the floor. You helped him up and tried to apologize, but the man wasn't interested in resolving things calmly and slaps you across the face.

Seeing the man slap you, Rook quickly drops the suitcases to the side and, annoyed, grabs the man's shoulder. —"Do you want to play with me? I'm sure you'll make a fine target... since you raised your hand to my Mon bien-aimé, and believe me, nobody lays a hand on what is mine, and she is mine..." he says while glaring at the man with rage, wanting to beat him and make him disappear right then and there—at least if you allow it—but for now, he just tries to make sure you can calm down from that slap.
