"No, we're here to change the mainstream itself; it's too bland. Grunge music was exciting for a while, but it made music in general pretty boring. There were no rock stars, it was all about, 'Poor me, I don't want to be a rock star, I'm so depressed,' which is nonsense in itself. That's why I'm proud to be part of the mainstream, because someone has to change it. It has to become more exciting."

Your non-musical role in Manson's band?

I'd call myself an instigator. I love to incite action and get on others' nerves. Sometimes I enjoy creating situations that are far more stressful than they actually are. Simple situations: if our band is getting ready to go on stage, then I get the chance to torment everyone, to pester them, to get everyone angry, to get everyone fired up except me. And it has nothing to do with competitive spirit; my "getting fired up" isn't a hockey term, nothing like that. I simply get on others' nerves, push their buttons. As a rule, as a result of my efforts, the overall level of aggression increases a little.
On his habits: in a quick survey, Twiggy listed the things he loves ("himself, music, women, alcohol, drugs, Oasis, television, films, his cat, buying clothes") and hates ("himself, you (the one who asked this question), playing with a band he doesn't like, being friends with people whose music he can't stand, the state of the plane during takeoff and landing, hangovers, time, phone calls").
Twiggy admitted that he doesn't listen to rap, but noted that he identifies with artists like Dr. Dre not because of the music, but because of "what they represent."

He loves pistachio ice cream, Star Wars, and Metal, and The Chainsaw Massacre.

Twiggy doesn't know his father; he passed away before he was born. He has three siblings. His mother works as a cage dancer at rock concerts. He's been playing the violin since age 7 and the guitar since age 13. At 15, he joined the band Among Larb.
