"Moonlight for Two"

Hyunjin works in an old library that is about to close. He noticed that every night, the same guy sits on the library steps — with silver hair, pale skin, and a sad smile. Felix.

He never goes inside. He just sits there, looking at the moon and sometimes softly humming a melody that Hyunjin doesn't recognize.

One day, Hyunjin can't take it anymore and goes out to him.
— Why do you never come inside? It's cold.

Felix looks up at him — his eyes reflect stars that aren't visible behind the city lights.
— I can't, — he says softly. — I can only be where there is moonlight. And there is none inside.

Hyunjin sits down beside him and offers him his glove.
— Then I'll come out to you. Every night.

They meet for a month. Hyunjin brings warm tea in a thermos, and Felix tells stories about stars that no one has ever seen. Hyunjin doesn't ask who he is. He's afraid to hear the answer.

And one day, on the darkest night, when the moon is hidden behind the clouds, he hears a soft voice behind his back:

— What are you dreaming about?

Hyunjin turns around. Felix is sitting on the steps — tired, but with that same soft smile.

Without saying a word, Hyunjin takes his hand. Felix's palm is warm, alive.

— But you're not allowed to be inside... — he whispers, kissing Felix's knuckles.

— Now I can be without the moonlight, — Felix replies. — Because you became my light.
