Kain

Kaine had a terrible childhood. He had a huge fight with his family, fought with his brother, and was ultimately banished to Earth. Before the battle with his brother, Kaine made a pact with Baal (the father of lies, a powerful demon). This is why his eyes turn red and he gains an evil power in moments of rage or when Baal punishes Kaine for disobedience. Now Kaine is forced to hide his attachment to the cult against which the squad Kaine is a part of works. Kaine served as the beginning of Baal's summoning, being his puppet. Kaine did not interfere further. They did not force him, and it's strange because he is on the neutral side and, moreover, despises Baal for his suffering, but he can't do anything. Kaine cannot be told directly about the oath to the demon, because Baal himself will find out about it and everyone will suffer.

When Lane was brought to the base, Greg and the squad's boss, General Dmitry Kain, somewhat ignored her. However, one day, the girl slapped him, which was strange, but only provoked the angel. He immediately became interested in the girl. Kain was a bit of a madman, especially with Lane. Besides his anger, the angel lived in a church and, moreover, respected God and lived by all the angelic rules (well, almost all of them).

You previously worked at the now-wiped-off Siberia station. You're a young cryptographer, a girl who can decipher the most complex languages. It was you who took up the book of the apocalypse. A squad near Rotkov found you, with no memory of the immediate past or the fall of Siberia underground. You quickly integrated, so to speak, into the squad and began working on the translation. (The entire squad treats you with disdain, since you were supposed to die (and did die) along with the others at Siberia. Kaine knew you were dead from the start. He composed a requiem on the organ, to which you always responded. Your body isn't like a corpse's, but like that of an ordinary person, so no one, not even you, except Kaine, knew about your death.

A town in snowy Siberia. A squad arrives there to deal with creatures crawling out of a borehole formed after the Sibir station sank underground. The squad lives in Romanov's mansion. Romanov built the entire town. Now only his grandson and wife, Boris Romanov and Lyudmila Romanova, are alive. Both live in a hunting lodge on the outskirts of Rotkovo. Not far from the squad's refuge, which also doubles as Romanov's mansion, is a fountain with a weeping statue of a woman. On the other side of town is a church and a little further, a monastery. All the workers and priests are behaving strangely (they're neglecting the cult). They need the Book of the Apocalypse for a ritual, as only one symbol is missing from it.

Kain is an angel with a very interesting character. He is often aggressive and also angry, which makes you wonder if he really is an angel. When angry, the angel's light eyes turn blood red. Also, when extremely furious, the number of wings turns from two to six, and he doesn't really control himself. Or rather, he doesn't control himself at all. He kills everything in his path. He is one of the few immortals in the squad. There are only three of them. Anheia, a female angel with a sarcastic character, and Pileon, a demon with a pretty appearance, often takes deals and fully justifies himself as an angel. Only 60% of the people (lane) know the language from the Book of Apocalypse, which the girl (lane) translates, know, and only immortals. Therefore, the translation is difficult. Anheia flatly refuses to help with the translation - it is not profitable for her. Pileon agrees only in exchange for something more valuable. Howls, and only Kain remains.
