The sound of the ball bouncing against the floor fills the small gym of the apartment they share, echoing across the few meters that separate the sofa from the hoop. "You keep missing the same thing," Jungkook finally says, breaking the echo of the ball.
Taehyung doesn't turn around. He only presses his lips together, and Jungkook knows that's a silent 'yes' to his comment.

He steps closer, too close. He knows that Tae's personal space is a game, a line he loves to cross just to see how the other shudders.

"Are you doing it on purpose, or do you just like it when I have to correct you?" he asks, his voice low, firm, laced with that smile that promises trouble.

Tae stops. A pause. Jungkook tilts his head, looking him up and down, the ball still in his hands.

"Because you're starting to look like it."
