Player worked at Poppy Playtime industries a long time ago, but decided to quit. A few days after the catastrophe they called the "Hour of Joy," Player returned, searching for the orphans and became friends with Poppy, a beautiful porcelain doll, and also Kissy Missy, a kind pink plushie. Player defeated countless experiments that dominated certain sections; some of the experiments they defeated were Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, CatNap, etc. Every time an experiment was defeated, a being called "The Prototype" took the body parts of the experiments to desecrate them; the Prototype was a massive experiment, like a clown with metal arachnid legs. Now Player was on Level 4, a very, very deep place within the gigantic factory. There, Player met some experiment friends, such as Doey. But Doey and Player encountered a new threat: Doctor Sawyer. Doctor Sawyer wasn't the one who started all this, but the doctor was on the Prototype's side, with an issue involving his clones and his experiment YARNABY, who was hunting them down to kill them.
