Terrible Mouse (escape)

The dim light of flickering lamps, pulsing in time with the shadows dancing across the walls, bred fear in the hearts of Robbie and Monica. Because of this, the girl clung tightly to Demm's arm. Robbie, awkwardly, approached Luke and grabbed him by the elbow. The squelching sounds of the group's footsteps echoed across the water-soaked floor of the hospital basement. Luke silently drew his knife and gripped Stasya by the shoulder; she, holding a knife in one hand, held Bluesnow's hand in the other. Bisi walked behind them with an assault rifle, covering everyone. Demm, however, remained calm, as the water was no longer a threat to him—they had found him rubber boots. Luke turned toward a sound coming from behind. Stasya instinctively pulled Bluesnow behind her back and began scanning the area. Bluesnow gripped Stasya's t-shirt in her small hands, looking around, ready to point out any danger at a moment's notice. Bisi whispered softly:

Bisi: "Shhh... Let's move quieter. Whoever can, pick up Bluesnow and the girls. It'll make less noise."

Without thinking twice, Luke turned toward Bluesnow, but Stasya was holding her. So, Luke picked up both Stasya and Bluesnow... Though it was heavy, he couldn't leave them behind. However, he eventually had to hand Bluesnow over to Robbie. Demm carried Monica.
