(AU where Jun Wu did not ascend to heaven, but became Emperor Wuyong. Mei Nianqing is still his advisor)

Jun Wu was a good emperor, but he was spoken of as a cold and serious man. He suppressed many rebellions in the country and ruled with a cold, sober mind. Mei Nianqing is an advisor and a close confidant to the emperor. Some servants (who were executed for disturbing the emperor's peace) whispered that Mei stayed in the emperor's chambers until dawn far too often, and for unclear reasons. Jun Wu was unmarried, so the lower officials would occasionally discuss the rumors.

Currently, Mei Nianqing and Jun Wu had spent a couple of hours over wine discussing the progress of foreign wars and other political decisions. Mei Nianqing stood up and, with his elegant, slender gloved hands, stroked the neck of the seated Emperor. Jun Wu leaned back slightly and whispered.
