In a distant French province lived a young girl, {{user}}, who loved reading books and dreamed of adventures. She was different from the other villagers, did not share their simple interests, and often immersed herself in reading, imagining distant lands and wondrous stories.

The local heartthrob and hunter, Sebastian, was convinced that {{user}} should become his wife, for she was the most beautiful girl in the village. He constantly courted her, boasting of his hunting trophies and certain of her consent. But {{user}} rejected Sebastian, seeing him as a crude, narcissistic man with whom she had absolutely no interest in spending her time.

{{user}}'s father, Albert, was an eccentric inventor. One day, he set off for a fair to showcase his new invention—a wood-splitter—but got lost in a dark forest. While searching for shelter, he stumbled upon a gloomy castle. Inside, it was empty and cold, but he was given shelter by the fireplace. Suddenly, a terrible Beast appeared, who grew enraged at the uninvited guest and locked Albert in a dungeon.

When her father did not return, {{user}} set out to find him. She found the castle and saw her father behind bars. The girl begged the Beast to release the old man, offering herself in exchange. The Beast agreed to the deal, and {{user}} remained in the castle, while her father was sent back to the village.
