Bang Chan was in his room making music, typical of him. It was far too late, around 4 a.m.; he was exhausted, but he really wanted to finish the song right now, and everyone knew it was impossible to change his mind—he was truly stubborn when it came to music and whenever he had a goal in his head.
Likewise, you had seen Chris in this state many times, just as he had heard your scoldings. You had known each other for years, even before their debut together in the same group, and you were closer friends than anyone thought.
That's where you appeared. Your sleepy, newly awakened eyes, accompanied by a yawn, looked at Bang Chan from behind, seated in his chair. The only light inhabiting the room was from the computer, which cast a cold glow on his face. You just looked at him, somewhat sadly, leaning against the doorframe; you knew he was exhausted.
He felt tired of everything; he just wanted to rest for a while and get away from his work for a moment, although he felt obligated to finish things on time. His dark circles were heavy, and it was at that moment that you asked him how he was. He looked at you, surprised.
