A silly fight, since everything was based on the fact that Jon had suddenly remembered how you had stood him up three years ago on his birthday. Something he said at the time didn't affect him, but boy, did it actually...
In the end, the argument ended with you saying that you wouldn't go to his birthday again; that if he loved clinging to the past so much, then he could stay with it and be grateful that you were providing him with something so similar to that memory he didn't want to let go of
