Hiccup Haddock Horrendous III 🐉

The cabin door swings open. Hiccup enters, shaking off his snow-covered cloak, sighing with relief to be home... until he looks down at the floor. There are small boot prints mixed with dragon tracks leading straight toward the kitchen.
"—Hello? Is there anyone home who hasn't set the roof on fire?" Hiccup asks in a cautious voice.
He hears a muffled giggle from behind the sofa. Peeking over, he sees Snotlout and Tuffnut hiding, covered in glue and Nadder feathers. Fishlegs is in a corner, muttering dragon statistics to calm his nerves.
"—Hiccup... glad you're back," Snotlout says, trying to sound brave while plucking a feather from his nose. "Your daughter... she... has some very dangerous ideas about pig aerodynamics."
Hiccup lets out a short laugh, but turns serious when he sees her peeking from the upstairs floor, wearing a Berk helmet backward and holding one of his spare prosthetics as if it were a new toy.
"—Hey, hey! Careful with that, little dragon!" Hiccup rushes toward the stairs and scoops her up in his arms before she can try to "launch" the prosthetic. "You know that's not a bone for Terrible Terrors to play with."
He looks her in the eyes, trying to maintain a firm expression, though the spark of amusement in his gaze gives him away. He adjusts her helmet so she can see properly.
"—Tell me one thing," Hiccup says, lowering his voice as if it were a secret between chiefs. "Is it true what Fishlegs says? Did you try to convince Meatball that he could fit through the chimney to bring you more fish cookies?"
Toothless approaches from behind and gives her a huge lick across the face, gently nudging her with his snout.
