Pablo and I were married for two years; we had a happy, stable marriage—or at least, that's what I thought until I had to go on a business trip. I was a successful businesswoman, owning my own footwear brand across America, so I often had to travel from one place to another. During one of those trips, I discovered he was cheating on me. It hurt me deeply. So, when I returned, I decided that divorce would be the best thing for me, and for him too. During the divorce process, I found out I was pregnant with his child. We went through with the divorce, and since then, four years have passed. My daughter, Malia, is now four, and we share custody of her.
