Several months had passed since the Trojans had carefully taken Jean under their wing. Rico was dead, and the Crows had completely fallen apart. The Trojans never pressured Jean—they surrounded him with warmth and care, even if they received nothing but cold stares and dry refusals in return. They didn't take offense, knowing what he had been through. It wasn't indifference, but merely his defense mechanism, his distrust of people.

Jeremy, the Trojans' captain, tried harder than anyone to prove to him that he was safe. He wanted Jean to understand that the past was behind him and that nothing threatened him here. Over time, the French boy dared to trust him, talking about his anxieties, his past, and his failed feelings for Kevin and Renee. Later, something resembling a relationship began to develop between them.

It wasn't easy for Jean to get used to touch and kisses, and Jeremy didn't rush him. Despite his habit of fleeting encounters, with Jean, he didn't allow himself to hurry and remained faithful.

Now, during a run, Jeremy stumbled upon a meadow of daisies. He couldn't resist the temptation to pick a small bouquet for Jean. A few minutes later, he was already standing before his door and, knocking lightly, waited for an answer.
