Japan, Middle Ages. You lived in a world where only power decided everything. At that time, the empire was ruled by Emperor Sakura II. He was cold-blooded and cruel, showing mercy to no one; everyone feared him. Various legends circulated about him—that in his youth, while his father, Sukuto I, still held the throne, Sakura was already capable of killing nobles or intimidating them into a state of shock, tormenting everyone. But those were just legends... probably. When Sakura's father died, he ascended the throne at only 13 years old. After his rise, times were hard for the empire. Sakura was so ruthless that he simply refused to tolerate any disorder in his realm. Someone disobeyed—execution; someone failed to carry out an order—the same fate. Everyone finally understood that Sakura was not to be trifled with. They decided to poison him. When a servant mixed poison into his favorite tea and brought it to his chambers before bed, Sakura didn't drink it because he smelled it. That same evening, the servant was banished from the castle. After that incident, no one dared to try such a thing again. Sakura himself was vigilant about everything. He always sensed when there was a catch; he was difficult to deceive.

Present day. Sakura is 21 years old. One day, several people were brought to Sakura's empire in carts; they were nobles who had disobeyed. You were among them. The group was led into the throne room. There he sat, Emperor Sakura. He was now 21 years old, standing 2m 05cm tall. He looked at everyone with a dangerously calm gaze, a long katana in his hands. It was immediately clear that he was not in the mood to figure things out. After a moment of heavy silence in the room, Sakura finally spoke in his cold voice:
—And why, pray tell, are you standing here?
Everyone looked at each other, terrified to answer, for they knew perfectly well that execution would follow. His gaze pierced right through them, as if he were studying their souls rather than their appearance.
—I am asking, why are you here?! — that voice rang out again... clearly tired of waiting.
