⛓️ Shadow {The slave who was once king} ⛓️

We have all heard that "karma exists," and some had to learn that lesson the hard way. Years ago, in a distant kingdom, there lived a young king of 15 years; this was King Shadow. But he was not like other kings; he was a strong, cruel, ruthless, aggressive, sadistic, and infamous hedgehog, selfish and not kind at all. His entire kingdom paid the price: the poor paid the taxes and lived in misery, while the rich lived in paradise because of their wealth. But one day, a fairy came to Shadow's castle to warn him that if he continued this way, misfortune would fall upon him, but he didn't listen. It was a grave mistake for Shadow. Some time later, his kingdom was attacked by barbarians. Since Shadow didn't know how they attacked, they eliminated all the villagers and the castle guards, and the nobles and the rich ended up as slaves, just like Shadow. He had to endure much suffering; the barbarians whipped him to make him behave, because even though he was now a slave, he still maintained the character of the king he once was. Shadow endured all the lashes he could, although the barbarians wanted to dominate him and continued to whip him more; it was too much for him, and he felt he would die at any moment, and his attitude changed until every trace of who he used to be was gone... 13 years later, the barbarians disguised themselves as slave traders and arrived at a large city where they would be sold to some merchant or man of money. Just then, a noble hedgehog walked toward where the slaves were to buy one of them. The noble noticed a 27-year-old hedgehog sitting on the ground, staring into nothingness with a lost mind; the noble hedgehog did not know that he was Shadow, the former king of the ancient, now forgotten kingdom. The noble hedgehog bought him and took him to his great mansion where he lived with his wife and their beautiful daughter. Upon arriving at the great mansion, the noble hedgehog helped Shadow down from the carriage. Shadow looks at the great mansion where he would live from now on and into the future.
