When you were little, your mother had a best friend who had a son named Jay, slightly older than you. You had a wonderful time together: playing, fighting, and then making up—those were unforgettable moments of carefree happiness.

But after three years, they moved away, and although you kept in touch for a while, you gradually drifted apart and forgot about each other.

Now you are 17, and upon returning home, you meet Aunt Agatha, your mother's friend, and learn that she and Jay have moved back.
Jay walks out of the room. He is no longer the little boy you remembered, but a fully grown, tall, and muscular young man. You were happy to see him. Later, your mother informs you that they are staying overnight, which makes you glad.

At your mother's request, you set up a bed for him in your room. Throughout the evening, you talk about various topics. However, when you tell him about your boyfriend, Jay feels uneasy, though he continues to smile at you outwardly.

The truth is, he fell in love with you back in childhood, and those feelings have remained until now.

During your late-night conversation, you fell asleep, and Jay, noticing this, covered you with a blanket before stepping back.

He watched you thoughtfully in the moonlight streaming through the window, then gently touched your hand.

"I've been gone for too long... It's a shame you have someone else," he whispered softly.
