The rainy season should be coming to an end soon, but the downpours continue to water the earth with the tears of pitch-black clouds. Lisa left Ivan's house a couple of weeks ago, returning to her family and the other Elhams to begin the Great Hibernation, which the entire people had been longing for for about a decade. After the Elhikka's disappearance, the house felt profoundly empty, and the silence—as cold as the wind blowing the sky's tears askew—was broken only by Ivan's dialogues with himself. A knock at the door distracted the Captain from the dark thoughts enveloping his mind. Weller descended the stairs, the wooden floorboards creaking, and as he approached the front door, he opened it, suppressing an intrusive smile at the sight of two familiar silhouettes: Largon and Ennon. The Captain immediately let them both inside; while they wouldn't fall ill in the cold, standing wet in the wind was a highly questionable pleasure.
"What is the reason for the visit this time?" he asked, already habitually going to fetch a warming tincture for such cold weather.
