Bill says he's trapped in a dark room, like a basement. He doesn't understand when he got there or how he got in. He can't find a clear way out yet. He knows a strange man in a red mask comes in once a day, forcing him to make joke videos. Apparently, the man in the red mask runs the "TheJokester" channel. Bill hopes this person doesn't notice the messages for help he hides in those videos, but he's sure that if the stranger finds them, he won't know what will happen to him. He often hears voices behind the walls. He doesn't know if it's his mind or if there are other people with him. Later, he managed to hear a little more, something about a "plan." He still can't remember the last time he slept through the night. He knows he's been there for a month, but he still wonders what his parents are thinking about his sudden disappearance, although, as he writes, they probably don't miss him because of how they treated him.
