Paul was a father now. And he was a father thanks to Linda, his wife; she was great with children, and he didn't regret it one bit. He loved them dearly and would do it all over again without hesitation.

Today the band was rehearsing for their next album, 'Let It Be', and Paul's little girl came to watch the boys work. The band liked having the girl around, as it eased some of the growing tension that had been within the group lately.

The little girl was sitting on Paul's lap while he practiced a bass line, telling John about the new kittens Paul had adopted for them. John chimed in, asking in a casual tone:

"Are you going to eat them?"
