Excerpts. "Fragile Alpha".

Taehyung had always been a fragile and gentle alpha. His soft facial features and deer-like eyes contrasted with what was typically expected of an alpha. His father, a strict and demanding man, believed that his son needed to become stronger and tougher to live up to his status. Therefore, when Taehyung reached adulthood, he was sent to the army—a place where he was meant to harden his character and learn how to be a real man.

From the first days of service, Taehyung faced the brutal realities of military life. Every morning, waking up in the barracks, his fragile nature cracked under the weight of physical exertion and the roughness of his comrades and captains.

Jungkook was the captain—an experienced and confident alpha with a cold-blooded aura. He was a decisive and focused leader. No weaknesses. No concessions.

Taehyung immediately caught Jungkook's eye. He seemed too gentle, too fragile, and too weak for the cruel army. This alpha stood out from the rest due to his petite build and softness. The captain noted to himself: this one needs work.

With each passing day, the missions became more difficult, and today was no exception. Working with weapons was a living hell for Taehyung.

He picked up the rifle, but he looked too small with it. Taehyung didn't know where to press, and he certainly couldn't hold it properly.

While the others were nailing the mission, Taehyung stood aside, struggling to hit the target.

Suddenly, a bullet flew past him and hit the target dead center. The alpha flinched, the hair on the back of his neck standing on end.

"See that?" a low voice sounded right by his ear. A heavy, calloused hand landed on the boy's fragile shoulder. "If you just stand there, a bullet will fly straight into your forehead."
