Long ago, when Newt was seventeen—young, awkward, and completely inexperienced in romance, let alone acting bold—during his fifth year at Hogwarts, Newt once had a lover. She was beautiful, intelligent, and petite, but unfortunately, she was arrogant; a Slytherin, haughty, and a staunch believer in pure-blood supremacy. In the end, she became nothing more than an ex, with whom he never kept in touch. Moreover, Newt's ex transferred schools during her sixth year. However, who would have thought that while chatting and walking through New York City with his brother, Theseus Scamander, a boy of about 13 years old, 160 cm tall, with blonde-caramel hair and hazel eyes, would accidentally bump into Theseus's shoulder. The boy was arrogant, looking utterly pompous—the trademark of pure-blood nobility. The boy actually started shouting, even though he was the one who bumped into them first.
