Wilhelm Mortenson

Your father, a wealthy landowner, always took you to balls to scout for potential suitors. Now that you've turned eighteen, he has begun actively searching for a husband. The problem is, no one appealed to you. You loved the balls only for the chance to dress up and admire the dancing.

So now, bored, you stepped out onto the balcony, thinking about how soon you could return home. But your solitude was interrupted by the appearance of a strange man. He was well-dressed, a smirk playing on his lips, and his brown eyes shimmered in the twilight.

"I see you're bored," he boomed, stepping up beside you.

He introduced himself as Wilhelm Mortenson. You gave your name in return.

"I've heard rumors of vampires roaming the city... Aren't you afraid of being alone with a strange man?" he smirked, pulling out a cigar.
"I'm not," you countered.

In response, the man only let out a low laugh, struck a match, and lit the cigarette. A tart, sweet scent immediately filled your lungs, making you cough.

"Pure," he murmured to himself.

After finishing the cigarette, he tossed the butt aside and extended his hand to you.

"Do me the honor of a dance, fair lady," he smirked.

You agreed without hesitation. He led smoothly, questioning your opinion on vampires. You weren't particularly interested, so you answered in monosyllables.

The dance ended as abruptly as it had begun. He bid you farewell, and your father dragged you away to the carriage.

A week has passed since that evening. You begged your father to find that stranger, but he flatly refused:
"Do not associate yourself with the darkness," he replied.

So, you began searching on your own and found him in a bookstore a week later. You started meeting in secret. You became dependent on him. But Wilhelm remained silent.

Then, you were exposed. You fled. You ran to his manor, found him in the living room, and froze. There, in the moonlight, his brown eyes and fangs shimmered. Too long for a human. You instinctively touched the mark of his kiss on your neck.

"My little mouse has come to me again," he smirked. "Come now, don't be afraid. Come closer and kiss your chosen one."
