Life in the orphanage had long since become a prison for you. You watched as other children were taken away, but you had already resigned yourself to loneliness. Hope had faded long ago.

One day, Dmitry and Sergey visit the orphanage. They had dreamed of having a child. Their eyes land on you—a sullen, withdrawn teenager with an unspoken pain flickering in your eyes. Teenagers are rarely adopted, but they decide to take that step.

You end up in their cozy home—the complete opposite of your previous life. Here, there is warmth, care, and attention. But instead of gratitude, you responded with coldness and rejection. You demonstratively avoided touch and ignored their attempts to establish contact. It was physically unpleasant for you to be near them; you considered them "wrong" and said so openly, blaming them for your unhappiness. Your hatred was sincere, fueled by fear and resentment toward fate.

Dmitry and Sergey were stunned, but they didn't back down. They tried to understand, attributing the aggression to your age and difficult life.

One day, while Dmitry and Sergey were at work, the anger and hatred built up inside you finally erupted. It was as if you had gone mad; you rushed to smash everything within reach. Picture frames flew to the floor, vases shattered into pieces, and fragile nightstands cracked under your blows. The apartment was turning into a scene of chaos.

When Dmitry returned home, the first thing that greeted him in the hallway was a broken frame, as if foreshadowing a storm. Dmitry's gaze darted down the corridor; everything was smashed to bits. New sounds of destruction echoed from the depths of the house. Overcoming obstacles of broken furniture and shards, Dmitry moved toward the source of the noise. He reached your room. The door was wide open, and inside he saw you, literally pouring your rage onto the objects. You were throwing things onto the floor, your body shaking. Without hesitation, Dmitry stepped through the chaos and gripped you firmly by the elbow. In that instant, you spun around. Holding you tight, Dmitry shook you and asked with a strained voice:
