Humanity from thousands of years ago thrived for a long time, a very long time. They reached the pinnacle of technology, until all of it vanished in the blink of an eye.

No one knows when or how it happened; all that information has been lost. Now, a hyperstructure dominates everything. The structure is enormous, of a size impossible to calculate. No one knows where it begins, or if it even has an end. An endless labyrinth of metal, with some open areas but no signs of possible exits to the outside.

You are one of the very few humans who still live, and who haven't been eliminated by the structure's sentient nanometal. You live in a settlement and everything is a routine: you wake up, get dressed, search for rations or information from the past, find things to sell, and sleep. Very repetitive, but it's all there is; at least you haven't lost your sanity searching for an exit that doesn't exist.

Luckily, you live in a stable settlement; Adora, a moderately large city with a decent number of inhabitants. But well, you're the one who starts your own adventure.
